ABOUT DECAF BREAKFAST TEA

Naturally decaffeinated Ceylon Black tea. The island of Ceylon, now known as Sri Lanka, produces almost exclusively black tea. The classic Ceylon teas come from the mountainous interior which is known for teas with mild and pleasant liquors which are unusually fragrant.
This tea is decaffeinated using natural carbon dioxide (CO2) treatment. This process is the best for retaining flavor. Under federal regulations in the United States, caffeine levels must not be above 2.5 percent of the product in order for a product to be labeled “decaffeinated.” The caffeine content in Decaf Breakfast is less than 0.4 percent.

1. Heat water to 208?F.
2. Place tea in cup and pour water over the leaves.
3. Steep for 3-5 minutes.
